Sock Summit Museum Collection Entry Form
Thank you for volunteering to be part of our global team of knitters, working to help build a collection of the worlds record of socks. Your willingness to knit for the museum will help ensure that from this point forward, we only gain sock history, not lose it.
Requirements:
Knit a pair of socks to gauge, faithfully following the pattern.
If possible, yarn should be similar to or same as original, or at least true to the original style and intent. (For example - if the original socks were knit in the 1950’s, handpainted or self patterning yarns would be inappropriate, and you should stick to solids.)
Finished socks will be donated to the museum, and should be sent in by July 25th,2009. If you can’t finish on time, or you change your mind, please let us know.
Please make sure that we have all your personal/group information right, we want to make sure that we can credit you for your work at the Sock Summit, and on-line.
